About the Instructor:

Subh is a lead mobile developer at Singapore Power. Prior to Singapore Power, he worked at PayPal where he was leading an iOS team and was instrumental in developing the revamped iOS app of PayPal. He is the organizer of iOS Conf SG, an annual iOS conference in Singapore. He also runs iOS Dev Scout, the iOS developer and meetup group in Singapore. He also contributed to the popular iOS tutorial site, RayWenderlich.com.

• 03:45 pm - 04:30 pm : Hands-on exercises (Building some sample apps)
• 04:30 pm - 05:30 pm : Some intermediate and advanced Swift features (where to go from here)

You'll Need:

• A Mac with Xcode 7.3 or above installed
• If you don't have a Mac then pair with someone at the event
• Make sure you install Xcode before coming as the download is few GBs
• If you have then bring along a power adapter as we will have only few with us!

FAQ: 

Do you need to print the ticket?

No, you don't need to. Just show us the ticket that you received via email or Event Pop application to our staff.

Do you need prior coding experience?

While having an experience with another programming language helps, but for this lesson we will go bit slow and you should be able to follow. Don't worry if you're bit lost during the presentation or demo as there will be some hands-on excercises to guide you through.

What will you learn by the end this lesson?

You will learn about basics of Swift and iOS programming while building few applications. 

Will there be food?

We have a lunch for you. And there will be coffee and drinks. But have your breakfast and come. You don't want to start with an empty stomach. ;-)

Can you bring a friend?

Unfortunately not unless you have asked us earlier and we have said yes. The space has limited seating capacity and we have kept the size of the class relatively small so that we can help you guys with the assignments.
