LifeKite: Your UNBOUNDED journey to ultimate personal success and family happiness is a 2-day experiential program designed to explore our personal paradigms (models of ourselves and the world) and how these are either helping or hindering us from getting the results we want in life, both personally and professionally. The experiential program will help open hearts and minds of participants before we install practical knowledge and skills to them. Be able to realign your personal values with your family values, being able to find happiness to yourself and your family.
On the second day of the program, we would be separating the group in to adults and children, where the children would be able to meet with many mentors which would help talk and facilitate their questions in life. For the adults would be talking about how to reconnect with your child and how to manage future issues which would come by.
By the end of the program participants will:
- Be able to Give and receive feedback in an honest, open and responsible way.
- Have clearly written down goals for the next 30 days with corresponding actions plans, an accountability buddy and group.
- Learn to Shift from a Victim Mindset to a Responsible mindset, taking 100% ownership of their results, being able to drive for success in your education and life.
- Understand and apply the WIN/WIN Principle in your life.
- Understand and Appreciate the Dynamics of the Different Human Behaviours which would be beneficial in communication with one another.
Sample Topics which would be covered in the program:
Opening Frameworks: In order for individuals to be effective in working with others it is important for them to have an understanding of themselves first.
The Opening frameworks and exercises are geared toward:
- Increasing personal awareness
- Shifting us from Blaming others to Taking 100% ownership of our results
- Helping us understand the prices and benefits of choices we make
- Allowing us to make New Empowering Choices
Communication vs. Connection: Most of the struggles in interpersonal relationships are caused by our Judgment, Criticism, Diagnosis and our highlighting of the “wrongness” of others, this automatically leads to a breakdown in our communication. In this module we explore how we can make authentic human connections with others (verbally and non-verbally), wanting to joyfully connect and contribute to others’ well-being.
Universal Human needs in the workplace: Participants are given an overview of universal human needs and the strategies we use to meet them. We will also explore effective ways to make requests of other people in order to fulfill our own need while having an understanding that other people’s needs are just important as our own.
Strategies for Meeting Needs: This module is designed to give us an understanding of how we can express appreciation in the workplace and at home.
Exploring the Negative Belief System called the 4 Rs: In this part of the program we take a look at the causes of Resentment in life, and corresponding practical solutions to the causes. We end the day with a short close-eyed process wherein the participants are able to release and let go of the negativity they have been carrying, specifically, suppressed Blame, Anger, Guilt and Shame.
