30-31 March 2024 – ALCOPOP x FIVE FOUR LIVE and the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra will present Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert featuring screenings of the complete film with Oscar®-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film. The concert will be led by acclaimed conductor Thanapol Setabrahmana.
Since the release of the first Star Wars movie more than 40 years ago, the Star Wars saga has had a seismic impact on both cinema and culture, inspiring audiences around the world with its mythic storytelling, captivating characters, groundbreaking special effects, and iconic musical scores composed by John Williams.
Fans will be able to experience the scope and grandeur of this beloved film in a live symphonic concert experience when Star Wars: A New Hope debuts on 30 and 31 March 2024 at 3:00 PM at Prince Mahidol Hall.
Legendary composer John Williams is well known for scoring all eight of the Star Wars saga films to date, beginning with 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope for which he earned an Academy Award® for Best Original Score. His scores for The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and most recently Star Wars: The Last Jedi were each nominated for Best Original Score.
Williams has won five Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, seven British Academy Film Awards, five Emmy Awards and 23 Grammy Awards. With 51 Academy Award nominations, Williams is the Academy’s most nominated living person and the second most-nominated individual in history, after Walt Disney. In 2005, the American Film Institute selected Williams' score to 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope as the greatest American film score of all time. The soundtrack to A New Hope also was preserved by the Library of Congress in the National Recording Registry, for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." Williams was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl's Hall of Fame in 2000 and he received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2004, the National Medal of Arts in 2009, and the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2016. Williams has composed the scores for eight of the top 20 highest-grossing films at the U.S. box office.

- 11.00 AM onwards Doors open, Order Confirmation check and give physical tickets to customers
- 2.00 PM The gates will open one hour before show time.
- 3.00 PM Performance starts **If the door is already closed after performance starts, you will not be allowed to enter the hall until the break time which could take at least 1 hours
- Please keep your courtesy in order to ensure that all audiences enjoy comfortable and pleasant performance
- Photographs and recordings are strictly prohibited.
- We reserve the rights to change the program of the performance as appropriated.
- Food and Pet are strictly prohibited inside the hall.
- After payment complete, no changes, cancellations, non-upgradable, or refunds are allowed in any case (Non-refundable, Non-upgradable)
Dress Code
- The code is smart casual. Strictly no shorts, no flip-flops, and no tank tops
- The concert hall temperature is adjusted to 20-22 C (68-70F) per musicians’ request. Please prepare accordingly.
- Cosplay is encouraged, but we kindly ask that you do not bring any helmets, hats, swords, spears, staff, or armor that may restrict the view of any persons behind, beside, or in front of you, but if you do want to bring it as a prop for your photos, there is a coat check to check them in before you enter the concert hall.
- We also do not allow any type of outfit that may damage the fabric seats inside the hall. If there are damages done to the seats, Mahidol University reserves the right to collect damage penalties.
- Photography is encouraged in front of the hall, but please do not take any photos or videos during the concerts.
- Children under 5 years old may purchase tickets in Tier G : FBA, FBB, FBC Zone, which is a soundproof glass room with high-quality speakers inside.

3. There are 2 ways to receive a ticket

- Start delivery ticket on February 21, 2024 onwards The delivery system will be opened last day on March 14 , 2024 (11.59 P.M.) and the last delivery date is March 15, 2024.
(For customers who choose delivery ticket on March 12, 13, 14, 2024, We will send ticket next day which you cannot change the delivery information once the ticket has been delivered) - In case the ticket buyer fills in the wrong delivery address, you can contact Customer Support for a request to change the information within 3 days after the purchase date.
- In case of fill wrong zip code, customers have to pay additional charges
- In case the customer loses the ticket Customers can contact Customer Support to issue new ticket and there will be new ticket fee 100 baht/ticket, customers must pick up new ticket at the event only
- Organizer reserves the right to not refund ticket and shipping fee in case the parcel is failed to deliver such as incorrect address and no recipient. The ticket holder must contact Customer Support to verify identity with My Wallet to receive the wristband at the event only.
- If you choose the method of receiving ticket, it cannot be changed the option later. Ticket buyers can fill in an address to deliver ticket only one address in each order. Please check delivery information before confirming the transaction
