Dear INSEAD Alumni in Thailand,
The INSEAD's global alumni network of more than 66,000 members from 170 nationalities will come together for a special day, marking the inauguration of a diverse and entrepreneurial institution that promotes prosperity and peace around the world.
In Thailand, The event will take place at "Baan Dusit Thani" - a beautifully restored stately home with a history dating back to before World War II. The house is located amidst a beautiful garden tucked away in the heart of Bangkok CBD district of Silom, just 5-minute walk from BTS Saladeang and Silom MRT Station.
The Dancing Hall pavilion, where the event will be held, was historically used as the setting for private parties arranged by the "Osathanugrah" family, the former owner of this prestigious heritage home.
The event will also consist of a fruitful discussion by the honorable guest speaker and talks over the alumni association's plan for the coming years. It will provide an opportunity for all alumni to celebrate their INSEAD experience with your friends, current students, and new graduates.

Honorable Speaker: Prof. Thitinan Pongsudhirak, Ph.D.
Senior Fellow of the Institute of Security and International Studies at Chulalongkorn University
Dr Thitinan Pongsudhirak is the former Director of the Institute of Security and International Studies (ISIS) and Professor of International Political Economy at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University. He earned a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics with a top dissertation prize in 2002. Recognized for excellence in opinion writing by the Society of Publishers in Asia, his views and articles have been published widely by local and international media.

The INSEAD Alumni Association (IAA) was founded by alumni in 1961. It represents all INSEAD alumni and acts as its spokesperson for the various stakeholder groups of INSEAD. In Thailand, the alumni organization exists as a National Club. Based in Bangkok with more than 100 members, the club regularly organizes networking events, talks, and social activities to inspire the INSEAD community to make the world a better place, enhance the school's visibility, and connect all alumni in Thailand and beyond.
