ASA Forum 2017

 Being an architect is to constantly learn new things. This is the main purpose of the yearly event ASA Forum to gather some of the most innovative architects from around the globe to give lectures in the Architect Expo. Under the theme ‘Baan-Baan’: Reconsidering Dwelling for Architect Expo 2017, the focus of ASA Forum this year is on the question of the various conditions of ‘home’ or ‘being at home’. This does not limit our discussion only to the design of a house but also include other facilities and future possibilities. This year the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) is honored to present six groups of architects: Anjalendran Studio (Chelvadurai Anjalendran) from Sri Lanka, Estudio Barozzi Veiga (Fabrizio Barozzi and Alberto Veiga) from Spain, Shingo Masuda and Katsuhisa Otsubo Architects (Shingo Masuda) from Japan, Studiomake (David Schafer) from Thailand, Studio Schwitalla (Max Schwitalla) from Germany, and UID Architects (Keisuke Maeda) from Japan. The speakers would present various ideas and perspectives, based on different regions and contexts, to rethink the living environments of the 21st century.

Non-member: 1,000 Baht/ 2 Day (Registration starts from 17 -27 April 2017)
