Sahaja yoga teaches a unique method of meditation, rooted in ancient spiritual knowledge, that lets you discover and effortlessly establish inner peace based on the experience of self-realization. Founded in 1970 by Nirmala Srivastava (1923-2011), known by millions of spiritual followers as H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, Sahaja Yoga meditation is now practiced in over 120 countries.
2023 marks the centenary year of Shri Mataji, the founder of Sahaja Yoga who dedicated her life to teaching people of all nationalities, races, and cultural/religious backgrounds how to use Sahaja Yoga to better their and envisioned the regular and free practice of Sahaja Yoga producing evolved societies, where people lead peaceful, joy-filled, balanced lives. Twice a Nobel Peace prize nominee, she received many awards and recognitions and traveled incessantly around the world for over 40 years to give public lectures and grant the meditative experience of self-realization to millions. Shri Mataji visited Thailand on five occasions and gave numerous public lectures in the 1990s.
In recognition of this legacy and as a tribute to its founder’s tireless commitment to spiritual growth and advancing human awareness, the Sahaja Yoga Foundation of Thailand is delighted to propose a two-day meditation and wellness festival to promote Sahaja Yoga meditation and share the benefits of this powerful, transformative yet simple method, through a series of lectures, meditation sessions, educational displays, and cultural performances. (All sessions are open to all and free of charge, donations are welcome but purely voluntary).
This program is part of 'Sahaja Yoga Meditation & Wellness Festiva' Celebrating 'Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi's Centenary.
