Interior design is defined as, “the art or process of designing the interior decoration of a room or building.” While a “process” may include a set of rules or stringent guidelines, the concept of “art” is much more fluid and subjective.
Consequently, perceptions of design style can be confusing without a common frame of reference. If a client cannot clearly articulate his or her vision for decorating a residential or commercial space, it presents a great challenge for an interior designer.
Have you ever found yourself asking the question what are the different types of interior design styles? Do you know the difference between traditional and transitional interior design? Maybe you want to switch up your style but can’t decide which direction to go in. This class is for you!
This online course (3 classes) will teach you what is an interior made of, what is a style, and how to apply them correctly. We will look in depth into the top 9 styles right now, and you will build mood boards for each one of them.
