Inspired by real life events, Buffalo Boy tells the story of Thouen as he leaves his home where he struggles to be understood and heads in search of a place where he can express himself.
A story which explores barriers in communication, articulation and what it truly means to be heard. Inspired by real life events, Buffalo Boy tells the story of a Cambodian man with Cerebral Palsy, as he leaves his home after struggling to be understood by everyone around him.
This story is about Thouen’s search for understanding and self expression. Presented through the eye of his trusted companion, the Buffalo, the story is brought to life through dance and immersive on stage projection
