.
Beginning in 2004, Designers’ Saturday is the afternoon talk on architecture, design and art hosted by art4d. The program presents not only designers’ work and practice but also share their visions towards the future of the design industry and global issue.
.
This time in March 2023, art4d cooperates with the Australian Embassy Thailand, inviting Rachaporn Choochuey, Design Director and Architect from all(zone) and Jen Zielinska, Creative Director from MPavilion, to the talk. Rachaporn will talk about the design of the 9th MPavilion, which invites everyone to see the beauty when we are outside the building. The pavilion appears with the roof structure composed of unique bright orange fishnets that look like a floating cloud, contrasting with the garden’s greenery.
.
While Jen Zielinska will talk about The MPavilion, an outdoor pavilion annually built each summer at Queen Victoria Gardens opposite the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia. The MPavilion places importance on sustainability issues, people, and the environment.
.
Designers' Saturday - An Ingenious Canopy The Making of 9th MPavilion in Melbourne by all(zone) will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Auditorium, 5th floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). Everyone is welcome to a casual After Party for personal touches to both speakers.
